Hello Reader, Big news this week from Google for churches that run schools. I'll cover that in this broadcast, share some exciting coverage I've gotten in an SEO publication, and also share a free backlink opportunity. It's a bit of a shorter email blast because, well, Holy Week is coming. And, that's the theme of this week's meme: β Google Dropping the Review System for SchoolsAfter April 31, Google will be dropping its review system for schools. It turns out they were constantly battling middle schoolers and high schoolers spamming the reviews. Who would have guessed? β βClick through on my X post, which details what this means for churches that run schools, and how to adjust your approach: β
I will add: Both of my packages will help with your school's visibility, as they give you name, address, and phone number citations across the internet, with 100 percent parity to your Google Business Profile. Featured in Search Engine RoundtableA major SEO publication, Search Engine Roundtable, picked up my X post on this change that Google rolled out for schools. I got a shoutout on their website. Many thanks to the reporter, Barry Schwartz. Go check out the article. Free Link You Can BuildβProduct Hunt is a super-powerful domain (DR 91), and you can get your profile on it, with a dofollow (transfers SEO power!) link. Set up a profile, and point the profile link to your church. Help Google discover it by posting a link to your profile page on X - make sure to tag me, @revcjackson! Many people don't think profile links help SEO. I disagree. Especially for local organizations like churches, all you need to rank well in most markets are a smattering of directory links and profile links. That's all for this week. Don't expect an additional email next week! May the Lord bless your Holy Week as we remember with deep gratitude the death of Christ and celebrate His glorious Resurrection.

I've heard many similar reports from fellow pastors and Christians worldwide on social media. Do you think there is some sort of global vibe shift, even something of a renewal happening?...
